It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Ruth Banta of Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Orville James and Mezie Inez Edwards (Campbell); her husband Robert L. Banta; her siblings, Orville Jr., David Edwards and Barbara Alter; her grandchildren, Shaun Hayes, Elizabeth Liz Hayes and Josh W. Morris; and her son-in-law Richard South.

She is survived by : her children, Deborah Hanes (Brian), Sherry South-Blackmon (Gerald) and Robert Banta (Donna); and her sister Mary Edwards Vincent. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established to the Bonnie Banta Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
