She was predeceased by: her parents, William Preston and Helen Preston (Montgomery); her siblings, Fred (Ermajean Preston), Mildred Vanderpool (Lloyd) and Mary Findley (Walter); and her son Rex Alan Rains.

She is survived by: her son Scott Rains (Michele); and her grandchildren, Chris, Shaun, Rex II, Zach, Noah and Jacob Rains. She is also survived by eight great Grandchildren.
