It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Ann (Holden) Wilson of Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on March 20, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivory Holden and Goldie Holden (Jordan); and her siblings, Nancy Kindred, Allen Doyal and Donna Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Wilson (Myrtle) of Arkansas City and Martha Wellman (Jack) of Belle Plaine, KS; her siblings, Gerold Holden (Chris) of Leonardville, KS, Gary Doyal (Peggy) of Ponca City, OK, Gayle Doyal (Anita) of Talala, OK and Debbie Hickey (John) of Derby, KS; and her granddaughters, Mariah Wilson and Mary Wellman. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren.
All attending are asked to wear facial coverings and comply with the Covid-19 mandates.
A memorial has been established for the Cherokee Strip Land Rush Museum or the Chaplin Nature Center. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
