It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaFern Alberta Scott of Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Jordan and Alice Jordan (Brown); and her sons, Steve Hasty and Stacy Scott. She is survived by: her husband Bud Scott; and her children, Stan Scott (Stacy) of Lake Ozark, MO, Stuart "Butch" Scott (Kami) of Troy, KS, Shelly Brown (Scott) of Wichita, KS, Rod Scott (Jill) of Springdale, AR and Randy Scott (Sonya) of Arkansas City, KS. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, several brothers and sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
A memorial has been established with Gentiva Hospice. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
