It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrna Lea Merz of Arkansas City, Kansas, born in Cedar Vale, Kansas, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Otis S. Cable and Della Cable (Clark); and her husband Ray Merz. She is survived by : her children, Jana Biddle (Mike) of Derby, Kansas and Michael Merz (Crystal) of Winfield, Kansas; her grandchildren, Ryan Biddle (Amy), Krista Kutter (Brian), Ashley Merz, Clayton Rush, Hayley Merz and Cory Shaw (Isabella); her brother Bob Cable (Becky); and her sisters-in-law, Marie Norton (Bruce) and Sharon Merz.

A memorial has been established for Central Christian Church.
