It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Joan Rockwell of Arkansas City, Kansas, born in Winfield, Kansas, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rollin Bohannan and Golda Bohannan (Moore); her son Jesse Wonser; and her siblings, Anna Conley, Kathy Kirchner and Mike Bohannan.

She is survived by : her former life partner Arthur Wonser; her husband Roger Rockwell; her daughters, Michele Housel (Stephen) of Cherryvale and Betsy Carroll (Chris) of Burbank, OK; her siblings, Loel Bohannan (Mica) of Winfield, Joyce Samuels (Don) of Winfield, Jimmy Bohannan (Phyllis) of Claremore, OK, Barbara Huster (Kenny) of Newkirk, OK, Linda Pontious (Lee) of Shildler, OK and Keith Bohannan of Cedar Vale; her grandson Matt Wonser (Crystal) of Independence; her siblings, Devin Windsor (Valerie) of Loudon, TN, Chris Wonser (Alyssa) of Arkansas City, Shanele Edwards (Cameron) of Liberty, Dennon Windsor (Morgan) of Sioux Falls, SD, Tim Wonser (Sara) of Wellington and Kaden Housel (Taylour) of Salina; her great grandchildren, Zak Al-Bureni, Landon Windsor, Collin Wonser, Madalynn Wonser, Ava Windsor, Hayslee Edwards, Blakely Edwards, Wyatt Wonser, Ella Wonser, Lily Windsor, Elijah Wonser, Paige Wonser, Jemalee Edwards, Kolter Housel and Jesse Wonser; and her pet Molly.

A memorial has been established in Nancy's name for AWOL Humane Society in Independence. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
