He is survived by : his brother Dr. Robert Swanson; his children, Monte Swanson, Krista Smith Topeka (Eric), Melanie Swanson and Kerry Harris; his grandchildren, Eric "Brandon" Smith Chanute (Tara), Elizabeth "Liz" Kinate (Nate) and Lauren Harris; and his great grandchildren, Hudson Kinate of Kansas City, MO and Ryder Smith.
