He is survived by: his former spouse Shirley Downing (Campbell); his children, Matthew "Cougar" Downing (Leslie) of Lawrence, KS, Clifford "Par" Downing (Catreece), Shauna Downing (Errol "Clutch" Copeland), Shaye Downing, Sher Downing and Jaurrice Maag-Downing; his sister Mildred Birch (Tootie) of Atchison, KS; and his children, John Robinson, Talsa Hutchinson, Cecilia "Alex" Westmoreland, Patience Shields, Candace Shields and Tiffany Cornejo. He is also survived by 28 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren.
