With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emerson Stewart (Wichita, Kansas), who passed away on July 4, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Emerson, Sr. and Leota Stewart (Kinney). He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Ann Skaer; his sons, Scott (Judy) of Anderson, SC, Ladd (Donna) of Augusta and Shane (Cathy) of Cypress, TX.; his wife Joyce Ann Bredfeldt; his daughter Jayme (Neal Whitlow) of Augusta; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb, Aaron, Daniel, Emily, Kate, Collin, Addy, Ellison and Grayson.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Headley Funeral Chapel (813 State St, Augusta, KS 67010). A graveside service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Calendar Elmwood Cemetery (501 12th Ave, Augusta, KS 67010). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar East Point Church of Christ (747 N 127th St E, Wichita, KS 67206).
