It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Hilger of Augusta, Kansas, born in Chanute, Kansas, who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Verne Wilson and Julia Wilson (Palmer); her siblings, Kenneth Wilson, Ellen Whitcomb and Norma Jean McCulley-Black; and her daughter-in-law Elaine Hilger.
She is survived by: her husband Martin Hilger; her children, Theresa Flach (Kenny), Edmund (Kim) of Ulysses, Leonard (Teresa) of Oswego, Becky Henry (Don) of Augusta, Phillip (Daneen) of Lecompton, Patrick (Clara) of Russell, Peter (Barb) of Chouteau, OK and Katherine Davids (Kurt) of Topeka; and her brother Harold Wilson (Elaine) of Prattville, AL.. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandson.
