With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verona Jewel Clayton of Augusta, Kansas, born in Ponca City, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 13, 2021 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Verona Jewel Clayton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jones and Iva Jones (Bradley); her husband Jesse F. Clayton; her daughter Janice Clayton; her grandson Casey Clayton; and her siblings, Dale Jones, Allen Jones, Max Jones and Audrey White.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Morrow (Melvin) of Rose Hill and Daryl Clayton (Shirley) of Wichita; and her grandchildren, Mike Morrow, Elaine Morrow, Kathrine Ruyle, Jarod Clayton, Jessica Briscoe and Cameron Clayton. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions be made out to Rose Hill Friends Church, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
