He was predeceased by: his parents, Olive Viola Meairs (Keefer) and William R. Meairs; his sister Betty Williams (Meairs); and his wife Joyce Meairs. He is survived by: his niece Lorie Williams of Lawrence.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Warren-Mcelwain Mortuary (120 W 13th St, Lawrence, KS 66044). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
