It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sammie J. Lahodny of Belleville, Kansas, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Sammie leaves behind and their impact on the lives of their loved ones. Though Sammie may no longer walk among us, their spirit lives on in the memories held dear by their family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home (1104 20th St, Belleville, KS 66935). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Edward Catholic Parish (1827 Q St, Belleville, KS 66935).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Republic County Hospital or the Tammy Walker Cancer Center, and may be mailed to Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, PO Box 566, Belleville, Kansas, 66935.
