He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Jelinek; his son Richard; and his siblings, Stanley, Charlie, Evelyn, Polly and Faye.
He is survived by: his daughter Marilyn (Jerry Osborn) of Oxford, KS; his daughter-in-law Susan Jelinek of Anthony, KS; his grandchildren, Stacie Osborn of Winfield, KS, Scott Osborn of Oxford, KS, Sara Reneau of Medford, OK, Nikki Blair of Anthony, KS and Adam Jelinek (Jennifer) of Bloomington, IL; and his great grandchildren, Ariel Wilcox, Mikkie Neilson, Bradi Osborn, Dallton, Dalen Blair, Nicholas, Kaitlyn Jelinek, Richard Nowell, Raylee and Jesse Reneau.
Memorials may be given in memory of Joe to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bluff City, Kansas and may be left in care of the mortuary.
