He is survived by: his parents, George Koppa and Marsha Koppa (Thurston); his brother Richard Koppa (Bobbie); his children, Mackenzie Koppa (Blaine Thompson), Ivy Koppa (Connor Medlin) and Ian Koppa; his grandchildren, Caydence Anderson and Saige Thompson; and his daughter Samantha Garwood (Kyle Barrett).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Care to Share which may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, PO Box 347, 201 S. Main St., Fort Scott, KS 66701.
