She was predeceased by: her parents, David Ray and Lena Kathleen Cobb (Tate); and her sister Mary Gonzales. She is survived by: her husband Bruce E. Ruby; her friend Bruce; her sons, John D. Wilbourn (Mary) of Alabama, William L. Wilbourn (Keirri) of Tennessee and Eugene K. Wilbourn (Kathy) of Oklahoma; and her siblings, David Cobb, Jr. (Pat) of Huntsville, Leonard Cobb (Rita), Minerva Aylor (George) of Florida, Edith Wilbourn of Alabama, Delena Mullnite (Mike) of Florida and Sandra Mellott of Virginia. She is also survived by six grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
