He was predeceased by: his parents, Doral C. Steckman and Mae Etta Steckman (Noah); his siblings, Doral Eugene Steckman and Claudine Butters; and his grandson Coleton Leroy.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Thayer; his children, LaResa, Tonnett, Cliff Steckman of Fayetteville, Leroy Steckman (Joetta) of Russell and Charles Steckman (Deborah) of Houston, Texas; and his sisters, Frances Moreland of Fort Morgan, Lee Summers of Whitewater and Mary McCune of Pratt, Kansas. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
A Memorial has been established at the Clifford Steckman Memorial Fund.
