He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul L. Parsons and Alberta Parsons (Simons); his wife Clara Peters; his siblings, Dick Parsons, Jack Parsons, Paul Parsons and Mary Hoover; and his nephew Keith Parsons.
He is survived by: his son Daryl Parsons (Karen) of Burden; his grandchildren, Gail Bailey (Bryan) of Winfield and Scott Parsons (Lyndsay) of Burden; his great grandchildren, Brice Bailey (Shelby) of Burden, Daisy Parsons of Burden and Gunnar Parsons of Burden; and his great great grandchild Darrel Bailey of Burden.
A memorial has been established in George's name for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
