He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene R. Kent and Mary C. Kent (Vaughn); his siblings, Thomas Kent, Kathy Kent and Greg Kent; and his stepmother-in-law Carolyn Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Lesa Kent of Burden; his children, Jesse, Cassy Kent of Mulvane, Amy and Scott Herron of Kellyville, OK; his siblings, Linda (Paul Potter), Steve (Therese Kent), Margaret Kent of Winfield, Joe Kent of Winfield, Susan (Eric Zanardi), Libby (Luís Cantu) and Tricia Kent of Winfield; his parents-in-law, Jerry Wilson of Atlanta and Hazel Braungardt of Atlanta; and his grandchildren, Ammure Kent, Owen Kent, Addie Herron and Brody Herron. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in Mark's name for the American Cancer Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
