He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Parker and Silver Evelyn Hankins (Barnhart); and his sisters, Silver Marie Mead and Mildred Pool. He is survived by: his wife Laura Schneider of Burden; his children, John Haemkin of Sweden, Morgan Hankins of Nebraska, Richard Hankins of Rantoul, Robert Hankins of Wichita, Dallas Tharp of Shamong, NJ, Kathryn Jones of Burden, Lauren Berg of Lawrence and Christina Hankins of Atlanta; his brother Charles Hankins of Winfield; and his parents-in-law, Mary and Richard Schneider of Arkansas City.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Milton's name for Wounded Warriors. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
