Vernon C. Dennett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon C. Dennett (Burden, Kansas), who passed away on February 9, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rhonda Dennett (Cox) and Herman Dennett; and his siblings, Helen Glenn, Beverly Sumner and Earl Dennett.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Mae Jones of Burden; his son Doug Dennett (Kristie) of Puyallup, WA; his granddaughters, Amelia Dennett and Jessilyn Parsons; his brothers, Carl Dennett (Ruth) of Oxford, Virgil Dennett (Mary) of Winfield and Kenny Dennett (Margo) of Enid, OK; his sister-in-law Betty Dennett of Enid, OK; and his stepgrandchildren, Leah Velz (Charlie) of Winfield, Megan Belisle (Steve) and Wichita. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established in Vernon's name for the Burden United Methodist Church and the Burden First Responders.
