He was predeceased by : his parents, Les Chambers and Thelma Ferree Chambers; his son Dennis; and his siblings, Wilma Jean Jeffers, Doris Frederick, Billie, Marvin and Leonard Chambers.
He is survived by : his former life partners, Nora Knowles and Roberta Laver; his wife Alice Sleezer; his children, Wayne (Susan) of Latham, KS, Roger (Kathy) of Kansas City, Lonnie, David of Yates Center, Gary of Cassoday, KS and Sheryl Gauss of Fort Scott, KS; his stepchildren, Lloyde (Brenda), Russell Sleezer (Carla) of Burlington and Gail McGirt (Steve) of Burlington; his sister Dianna Wood of Stephenville, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Rosemarie and Shirley Chambers. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren.
