He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Katzer and Anna Katzer (Egidy); and his brothers, Ralph Katzer and Mark Katzer. He is survived by: his wife Kay Katzer; his children, Debbie Miller (Troy) of Olathe, Kansas, David Katzer (Casie) of Social Circle, Georgia and Erin Henry (Perry) of Overland Park, Kansas; his grandchildren, TJ, Morgan (Greyson Miller), Holt (Hudson Katzer) and Hade (Elle Henry); and his siblings, Jerry Katzer, Greg Katzer (Shirley), Virgil Katzer (Linda), Ben Katzer (Barbara), Fred Katzer (Nancy), Mike Katzer, Anthonette Wolken, Marlene Hermreck, Theresa Morgan and Kathy Wittman (Chuck). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
