He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rex Liles and Sue Golden; his siblings, Jay Garten, Becky Garten, Greg Liles, Tia Liles, Amy Liles and Chris Atwood; his grandparents, Gayle Richards (late John), Tom Golden Sr. and Barb Pilgrim; and his aunts and uncles, Tina Willoughby (Roger) and Tom Jr. Golden (Jill).

Memorial donations in John's name can be made to the Mott Children's Hospital.
