Eleanor Downing Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Downing (Coffeyville, Kansas), who passed away on February 5, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Clay Russell Downing; her children, Karon Fay Downing, Randy Allen Downing and John Russell Downing; and her sisters, Ella Jean Hayes, Shirley Page and Charlsetta Wilson.

She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Hardimon; her granddaughter Pamela Hardimon Walden; her great grandchild Maxine Walden of Omaha; her grandson Stephen Hardimon of Mission; her daughter Sharon Ugochukwu of Kansas City; and her grandson Anthony Downing of Topeka. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and loving friends.

The family has requested memorial contributions be made payable to Church of God in Christ and may be left in care of the chapel.
