She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Brown and Orpha Brown (Lewis); her husband Clayton Sherman; her sons, Kenneth Sherman and Dru Sherman; and her children-in-law, Ron Maris and Brenda Sherman.

She is survived by : her daughter Talma Maris of Coldwater, KS; her grandchildren, Delana Long (Nick) of Wichita, KS, Denae Hoyt (Matt) of Ulysses, KS, Dace Sherman (Marlaina) of Kaw City, OK and Dia Unruh (Jacob) of Coldwater, KS; and her great grandchildren, Briggs, Finley Long, Jalee and Daxton "Rooster" Unruh.
