He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry E. Forshee and Ellen M. Forshee (Nichols); and his siblings, Harry L. Forshee, Marguerite Thorpe, LaVona Merry, Phyllis Larson, Thelma and Marie Forshee.

He is survived by : his sisters, Norine Koester, Neva Demanett and Audrey Elyea; and his sister-in-law Shirley Forshee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The family suggests memorials to Cloud County Museum or Genealogical Society in care of the funeral home.
