We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2022, at the age of 92, Alice M. Childs (Cottonwood Falls, Kansas), born in Burns, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alice M. Childs to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Payton and Alta Payton (Sidner); her siblings, Iota Smith, Percy Payton, Ruth Knab, Pauline Pinkston and Betty Bill Swift; and her sister-in-law Helen Payton.

She is survived by : her husband Edwin Childs; her sons, Larry Childs (Kathy) of Oklahoma City, OK and Gary Childs of Cottonwood Falls; her grandchildren, Nicholas Childs and Melissa Ward (Seth); and her brother Wayne Payton of Abilene. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Honor Flight, in care of Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home, PO Box 220 Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845.
