It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Wilson (Cottonwood Falls, Kansas), born in Strong City, Kansas, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Barrett and Lila Barrett; her sister Patty Applegate; and her son Richard Wilson. She is survived by : her husband John R. "J. R." Wilson; her sons, Bill Wilson (Sherry) of Cottonwood Falls and Jesse Wilson (Beth) of Emporia; her grandchildren, Chelsea, Jacob, Paula and Dalton; her great grandchildren, Wade Bartels and Chester "Chet" Wilson; and her siblings, Raymond Barrett, Martha Knoblock and Mary Helen Laney.
