It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Lee Blount Jr. (Cottonwood Falls, Kansas), born in Emporia, Kansas, who passed away on September 6, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Sr. Blount and Leona Blount (Potter); and his siblings, Tommy, George, Bobby, Viola, Frankie, Jean, Virgilene, Shirley, Dorothy, Jake, Anna Lee and Marlene.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Branch; his children, Tena Blount and Charlie Blount; his grandsons, Dakota Blount (Kortney) of Cottonwood Falls and Clay Blount of Cottonwood Falls; his brother Jim Blount; and his pet Badger.
