It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Masters of Council Grove, Kansas, born in Burlingame, Kansas, who passed away on March 27, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Marshall "Short" Masters and Georgia Masters (Patterson); his brothers, Richard Lloyd Masters and Larry Masters; and his grandchildren, Christopher Masters and Allison Masters.

He is survived by : his former life partner Sheryl Gunterman; his wife Janice Venable (Christiason); and his children, David Venable (Peggy) of Houston, TX, James Masters (Shyanne) of Wilsey, KS, Calvin Masters (Mandy) of Topeka, KS, Marcie Quaney (Rob) of Burlingame, KS and Angel Cobb (Shane) of Topeka, KS. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
