With solemn reverence, we commemorate Delores A. Thompson of Courtland, Kansas, whose life came to an end on December 6, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Thompson and Esther Thompson; her brother Danny Thompson; her brother-in-law Larry Johnson; and her nephew Kirk Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Gerry Gilbert Thompson; her children, Kristy Shrader (Brad), Jeffrey Thompson (Regine) and Heidi Bivens (Tony); her grandchildren, Ty Bivens, Cody Bivens, Jack Thompson, Brandon Shrader (Naomi), Ryan Shrader (Mariah) and Dane Thompson; her great grandchild Nellie Mae Shrader; and her siblings, Shirley Johnson and Joe Thompson (Mary). She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home (1104 20th St, Belleville, KS 66935). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the Riverview Cemetery.
