It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Marlane Akings of De Soto, Kansas, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Dumler and Theresa Dumler (Deutsch). She is survived by: her husband Dean Akings; her children, Randall "Randy" Akings of Lenexa and Melissa "Missy" Schuman (John Skolaut) of De Soto; her grandchildren, Carson Rae Schuman and Hugh Isaac Riley; and her siblings, Marlin A. Dumler (Lori) of Russell and Sylvia J. Dumler of Milberger.
