As we bid Nelma Lee farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nelma Lee is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Ivory and Lydia Ethel Howell (Brazeal); her son Larry Brumley; her husband Jimmie Joe Brumley; and her former husband James E. Hudspeth.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael, Jay (Rae), Billy (Julie) and Rod (Charlie). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
