With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Qualls of Derby, Kansas, born in Iola, Kansas, who passed away on January 8, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Mary Lou Hadley and Gordon Settlemyer. She is survived by: her husband Larry Qualls; her daughters, Joan Parsons, Donna Merz and Stephanie Hull (David); her grandchildren, Aubrey Fassiotto (Cory), Lucas Whippo, Kyle Merz, Drew Merz, Austin Merz, Briceson Merz, Brittany Hoag (Aaron), Brooke Rinehart (Colby), Bret Hull, Brylee Hull and Brynlan Hull; and her siblings, Vernon Settlemyer (Ruth), Diana Davidson (Lloyd) and Karen Allen (Glen). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials in honor of Jean are suggested to the American Heart Association or the America Diabetes Association and may be left with the funeral home or mailed to 1883 U.S. Highway 54, Iola, Kansas, 66749.
