She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman R. Nickel and Elizabeth Nickel (Funk); and her sister Effie Lou Edwards (Charles). She is survived by: her husband James E. Ellis; her children, David Ellis (Susan) and Penne Eaglin (John); her granddaughter Amanda Lesser (Josh); and her sister Annalee Ewert (Bill). She is also survived by niece and numerous nephews.
