Nicklos Mares Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nicklos Mares of Derby, Kansas, born in Springer, New Mexico, who passed away on December 29, 2020 at the age of 66. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nicklos Mares to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his mother Juanita Mares (Apodaca); his sister Pauline DePari; and his grandmother Antonia Apodaca. He is survived by: his wife Denine; his daughters, Nicole Herrera and Tierza Rose Torrez (Daniel); his grandchildren, Josiah, Selah, Eliannah, Jude Herrera, Alonzo and Ezra Mares-Torrez; his father Gilbert Mares; and his sisters, Rose Briggs (Bob) and MaryAnn O'Neil (Mike). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family and many dear friends.
Due to Covid restrictions a private memorial will be held in his hometown of Springer, New Mexico with close family and friends.
