Donald Smalley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2025, at the age of 82, Donald Smalley of Dodge City, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Donna Lynne Swanson; and his brother Dean. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Marie Roesener; his children, Gayla Herrman (Curt), Todd Smalley and Bradley Smalley (Savannah); his grandchildren, Sheridan, Sam, Jackson, Wesley, Megan LaCrone (Seth), Aubrey Clark (Jeff) and Jeremy Clark (Shannon); and his brother Rick Smalley (Sharon).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swaim Funeral Chapel - Dodge City (1901 6th Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Christ the King Lutheran Church (1008 W Beeson Rd, Dodge City, KS 67801). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Christ the King Lutheran Cemetery (1008 W Beeson Rd, Dodge City, KS 67801).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Christ the King Cemetery Fund or Kansas Honor Flight, Inc. in care of the funeral home.
