James Allen Sammons Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Allen Sammons (Dodge City, Kansas), who passed away on February 4, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Jim Sammons and Evelyn Sammons; his siblings, Roy Sammons and Sherry Hutton; and his daughter Kelly Boss.
He is survived by : his wife Kathy Runquist-Sammons; his son Justin (Darla) of Lincoln, NE; his stepsons, Mike Runquist (Reiko) of Palm Springs, CA, Rob Runquist of Wichita, KS and Chris Runquist (Rebecca) of Prairie Village, KS; and his sisters, Glenna Root of Morro Bay, CA and Darla Sammons of Los Osos, CA. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Dodge City Animal Shelter, Ford County Humane Society or SWKS K9 Pawsibilities all in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
