She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Harden and Dorsie Harden (Fahler); and her son Walter Leslie Shufelt. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Hellwig (Gale) of Chetopa, Kansas and Debie Cornog (Larry) of Columbus, Kansas; her daughter-in-law Linda Shufelt of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Matt Hellwig (Lindsie) of Bentonville, Ryan Hellwig of Eudora, Scott Shufelt (Mindy) of Rogers, Chrissi Crumpton (JC) of Bella Vista, Jennifer Westervelt (Doug) of Columbus and Melissa Dunnic (Billy) of Carthage, Missouri. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home (605 Locust St, Chetopa, KS 67336). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to The 506 Foundation to benefit the Verl and Anita Shufelt Scholarship fund.
