He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Sponsel and Myrtle Sponsel (Gould); and his son-in-law Henry Elling. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane; and his children, Natalie Konstadinitis, Todd Sponsel (Wanda), Teresa Jorns, Bradley Sponsel (Lisa), Sonia Snyder (Darin) and Amber Sponsel (Paul). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 13-great grandchildren.
