It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johny Martin of Effingham, Kansas, born in Pixley, California, who passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosebud "Fuller" and Ethel Martin (Chaney); and his siblings, Sarah Margaret, Lillian Marie, Ida Lee, Mary Collen, Rosebud and George Andrew.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Martin; his children, Johnny Martin (Donna) of Effingham, KS and Melinda Oswald (Lee) of Effingham, KS; his brothers, Willie "Maxie" Martin (Mary Kay) of Black Foot, ID and James Alfred Martin of Post Falls, ID; his grandchildren, Tricia Parker (Robbie), Sarah Sinclair (Phil), Phillip Martin (Katie), Derek Oswald and Trevor Oswald; and his great grandchildren, Blake, Brooklynn Parker, Annabelle, Joseph Sinclair, Valerie Oswald and Camden Martin.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the ACCHS Drama Department or Freedom Hospice (Hiawatha, KS) and may be left in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with whom funeral care has been entrusted.
