She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira "Lee" LeRoy and Virginia Roberts (McDuffie); and her sibling's children, Christen McCarthy and Christopher Roberts. She is survived by: her former husband Douglas Alan Edwards; her husband Doug Edwards; her children, Rachel Edwards and Jacob Edwards; her sisters, Dena McCarthy and Teresa Mitchell; her sister-in-law Diane Lynn McNeill (Steven); and her pets, Lady and Scout.

Memorial contributions can be made out to USD 490 to establish a scholarship in Linda's name for the special education department.
