She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen C. Thurber and Viola L. Thurber (Noble); her husband Richard E. Cook; her children, Roxanne and Brian Thomas Cook; and her brother Glen Thurber.
She is survived by: her daughter Tacy Smith of Wichita, KS; her grandchildren, Lexy Roxanne Smith and Kayla Shae Smith; and her sister Carol Thurber of Topeka.
A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
