He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Kaufman and Annie Kaufman (Boeckner); his wife Mary Yoder; and his siblings, Floyd Kaufman, Alta Graber and Erma Snyder.
He is survived by: his family, Gerald, Jane, Peggy and Jeana; his grandchildren, Cherry, Zach, Clint, Rachelle, Brenna and Grant; his children, Gerald L. Kaufman (Jessie) of Kansas City, KS, Jane L. Fry (Steve) of Elk Falls, KS, Peggy L. Frye (Keith) of Middlebury, IN and Jeana L. Schneider (Ron) of Hesston, KS; and his sister Fern Bontrager of Hutchison, KS. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
