Charlie Turner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2020, at the age of 70, Charlie Turner of Elkhart, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville "Hugh" and Thelma Turner (Roll); and his siblings, Lane Turner, Kenneth Turner and Eunice Deherrera.
He is survived by: his spouse Laurie Leigh Smith; his children, Charlie Turner (Amy) of Lubbock, Caleb Turner (Bethany) of Littleton, Isaac Turner of England, Ethan Roberts of Fayetteville, David Roberts of Colorado Springs, Jenny Rose Meadows of Colorado Springs, Olivia Ostrander (Justin) of Glenwood and Savannah Morgan of Colorado Springs; and his sister Yvonne Fields (Dan) of Atwood. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Hugh (Thelma) Turner Park Project or Charles Turner Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 854, Elkhart, Kansas 67951.
