It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Mecklenburg (Elkhart, Kansas), who passed away on December 3, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Walter Mecklenburg and Ella Mecklenburg (Halverson); his wife Arlene (Wendt); his children, Sandra Mecklenburg (Jim Bailey) of British Columbia and Tim Mecklenburg (Morey) of Hugoton, Kansas.; his stepgrandchildren, Evan, Aimee, Sophia Bailey and Eleanor Bailey; and also, Cade and Clay Mecklenburg.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Project Hope.
