It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Whisennand (Elkhart, Kansas), who passed away on December 12, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest W. Whisennand and Alice I. Whisennand (Schnaufer); his wife Ella; his siblings, Phyllis Whisennand, Maxine Robedeaux and Jim Whisennand; and his sister-in-law Mary Whisennand.
He is survived by: his children, DeeDee Abbott (Neil) of Leander, TX., Cathy Moore (Robert) and Todd Whisennand of Elkhart, KS.; his brothers, Jon Whisennand of Elkhart, KS. and Jack Whisennand (Lynn); his grandchildren, Kira Jobe (David) of Leander, TX., Cody Abbott (Julia), Cord Whisennand (Shelby), Sarah Moore, Lane Whisennand, Colin Moore, Joe Whisennand and Koyal Whisennand; and his great grandchild Benjamin Jobe of Leander, TX.. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established for Knights of Columbus, Elkhart.
