He was predeceased by : his parents, William A. Thomas and Marie Thomas (Schauf); his brother Mike Thomas; his sons-in-law, Gerald Reichuber and Raymond McNett; his sister-in-law Marie Thomas; and his grandchildren, Alex Thomas and Ashley Reichuber.

He is survived by : his children, John Thomas, Danny Thomas, Joan McNett and Sharon Reichuber; and his brother Bill Thomas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
