She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Herman Voeltz and Frieda Voeltz (Frohreich); her husband James J. Podlena; her sons, Darrell Podlena of Kanopolis, Roger Podlena (Gwenna) of Kanopolis and Robert Podlena of Lake Tapawingo, MO; her brother Ernald Voeltz; and her son Michael Podlena. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
